It has been a long time since the Symphonic metal band HB made any new song, but now in march 2022 a new single of HB called praying for Europe has been uploaded on their channel. I really like the band and the song, so i share this song and lyrics here on my website. Beside this there were no other places i could find the lyrics, so i typed them out for you!
About HB
HB is a Christian symphonic metal band formed in Forssa, Finland, back in 2002. Over their career, they released a demo, four albums in Finnish (with English versions for three), three singles, and a live DVD recorded at the Maata Näkyvissä Festival (2006).
Although HB played their farewell concert on December 10, 2016, at Christmas Rock Night in Germany, where they announced their decision to part ways, this new single signals a powerful return.
Musically, HB blends symphonic metal with the dynamic sounds of electric guitars, bass, and drums, complemented by classical instruments, choirs, and melodic vocal lines. Their lyrics are deeply spiritual and Christ-centered. Interestingly, the initials “HB” don’t officially stand for anything. The band once held a contest for fans to suggest meanings, with “Holy Bible” being one popular idea.
