It is the duty of every free man to safeguard liberty. For it is in even the small moments of apathy and neglect when tyranny—ever present, ever awake, ever biding its time—creeps in and starts to take over, like a malignant cancerous tumor.
Let the state take away one inalienable right, and it will take away another. And another. And another, until you have nothing left, and the only thing that remains in totality is the all powerful state. Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state. A boot stepping on a human face, forever.
